AHU U12 Team

Meet the Arizona Hockey Union Pee Wee AA U12 team and show your support!

This page was designed to help the AHU U12 team raise money to cover the expense of traveling to the USA Hockey National Championships. Please click on a players name or photo to go to their individual campaign page.

Sixteen 12 year old boys started the Hockey Season in June as a group that dominated in the levels they played in the past.  What is next?  How can we improve?

We went to Whistler, British Columbia…scored the first goal of the tournament, and then saw how hockey was played…4 straight losses.  Were we discouraged?  No, we were inspired.

Is there hockey in the Valley of the Sun?  Yes, and a lot of it, and good hockey.  In the under 12 age group, AA level, there were 4 teams in the Valley.  They spent their season playing teams locally and from Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and California.

The end result… an invitation to the National Championship Tournament in Virginia.

Arizona’s Representatives at the AA Tier II National Championship Tournament are the Arizona Hockey Union U12 Pee Wee AA Polar Bears, a team comprised of boys from Gilbert, Chandler, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Glendale.  We need your support to help these boys make a name for Arizona Hockey.

Please HELP by selecting a hockey player below and contribute to their account today! Proceeds will be used to help off-set travel, lodging, and tournament costs.

Thank you for your support of this team and sport.

Why On-Line Fundraising with Care4Network ROCKS!

1. Increased Reach
Email and social media (facebook) makes it possible to contact supporters, family and friends from different geographic locations as opposed to those only within close proximity. Campaigns can now reach potential supporters from coast to coast and not just those at arms length.
2. Increased Safety
Since there is no door-to-door selling involved in an online fundraising campaign, there is no need to approach strangers when asking for money. The added safety of using the internet to fundraise brings a sense of relief to parents as well as team members.
3. Ease of Coordination of Effort
A traditional fundraiser may involve purchasing inventory, handing out inventory, counting and managing stock, delivering goods sold, organizing volunteers, booking rental space. An online fundraiser can all be done in front of a computer using email, social media and your website as a communications tool. 4. Fun Setting up your customized web-page is not only fun for yourself and your group but supporters enjoy it as well. They will take pride in supporting you and your group by having the opportunity to easily make contributions and leave comments to show support. Groups can also develop incentive programs to reward top fund-raisers.
