“Hello, my name is Hunter Campbell, I am in my 4^th year of hockey, and my 3^rd year of “Travel Hockey”. Out of the blue, I asked my mom and dad if I could play hockey, so that weekend they took me to the ice rink, I was 5 1/2 and as soon as I got my skates on and began skating I was hooked, and from that moment on I wanted to be a hockey player.  I began taking skating lessons and soon found myself in the cross-ice mite house program at the age of 6.

I am now 10 years old and play center for the Phoenix Polar Bear Squirt A “Travel” team here in Chandler, AZ.  I wear #6 because that is the age I started playing hockey and it’s been my number ever since.  My family and I go to all the Coyotes games (yes, they have professional hockey in Arizona), my favorite player on the team is Shane Doan.

I just enjoy playing hockey with all my friends, I even play roller hockey out in the heat, I just love to play hockey that much!”
