My name is Kole G.

In September of 2000 my Dad was named the TV voice of the Minnesota Wild, in October of 2000, I was 5 months old and went to my first NHL game, it was the first home game in Wild history! I went to about 30 games that first season, all before my first birthday, I guess it only makes sense that hockey is in my blood. I’ve been very luck to see lots of NHL games, been in some locker rooms and even skated with Andrew Brunette and Mike Ramsey after a Wild practice, but what I love most is playing the game with my friends and being a Polar Bear!

I started skating and playing cross ice mite at age 5, I remember I got my first gloves and skates for Christmas that year! After more cross ice, I am now in my 3rd year of travel hockey, and I now play for the Polar Bears Squirt A team. I have always worn #16 because my Dad was a HUGE Bobby Clarke fan and he and my Uncle Todd wore it their entire careers, but also because of Brett Hull, he is my favorite player and his brother Bart lived with us and helped coach our Mite team. I also really like Joe Thornton and Shane Doan.

I play all the forward positions, mostly center and left wing though, I love getting both goals and assists, because setting up my linemates is as cool as scoring my own goal!
My teammates are my best friends, I love being at the rink, playing knee hockey and having team parties! I am very proud to be a Polar Bear!
